19. August – Going to Penang this weekend.

As we are going to Penang today, I am all ready!

It’s a long drive, but like it so much over there, so never mind.
Look forward to see the boys again. Haven’t seen them for weeks.
And Grandma and Ana will follow as well, so should be OK la…

What?
Is Daddy not following? Have to work?
OK, I have to do all the check up of the house for him then.
I’ll fix that, no problem.

Poor Daddy, need to be alone at home without me keeping him company.
Anyway, we have brought a camera, so we will take pictures for him to see then.

Pictures taken by Oriental Daily

I enjoyed being interviewed by the newspaper, and as such being in the limelight,
or should we say in the flashlight.
The reporters wanted to see the process of how we are making and updating the blog,
so here we go; Dad had to shoot some pictures with our camera.
This picture is also taken by the camera guy from the newspaper.
I enjoy checking the pictures that Daddy is taking these days.
The guy from the newspaper had a bigger Canon EOS camera than us, says Dad.
Wonder what he has in mind…
Here we are uploading pictures to the computer.
Previously I haven’t paid much attention to what has been going on,
but now, I want to have a say…
Nice.
Thanks to Oriental Daily for the pictures.

August 2010 – Sunday Morning at KLCC Park

Been to the KLCC Park today with Mum, Dad, Grandma, Ana, Uncle and Auntie.
It was quite nice today, as it was not too hot, say about 32 degree.

The swing here is for babies, but to keep Ana company,
I accepted to use this one.

You see, Ana loves it!

Riding the dinosaur with Ana, was a bit tricky though….

Ana had a go at the slide…
I acted as the driver of the bus with Uncle, Auntie and Ana on board.
Had to concentrate, as it is a big bus, you know….
Lot of playing equipment in this park, but get tired after a while, and thirsty…
So good that Grandma was there.
It’s so cozy to sit next to her, Auntie and Ana, when I have my break.
Finally, I could ride the dinosaur by myself.

My 1st. Newspaper interview.

Today I have been interviewed by a Malaysian Newspaper!! Why?
Because of this Blog!
They have found the Blog quite nice,
and intend to make a story about it in the newspaper to be issued the 25th. August.
The Newspaper is issued in mandarin, so it will be very interesting…:-)) Can’t wait!!
The reporter brought her own photographer, and he took a lot of pictures during the interview.
Will fly them here as soon as we get hold of them.

Back home in KL

Hi there, as you can see, finally I am back in KL.
So nice to be back where I can watch TV the way I want it.
Dad has stopped shouting when I am standing in the chair. He realize I can handle it now.

Mum and I enjoy spending time on the sofa, we play around,
but are keeping an eye on the TV as well.

Ana and Grandma’ have been here today.

While Grandma’ and me are watching TV, Ana want to play with my toys.
She can just go ahead, as long as she do not disturb us.
So nice to be back on Grandma’s lap.

Ha, ha… Look at Ana! She thinks my puzzle piece is a biscuit or what?

But, I have to admit, after been to Norway and been cruising around on my Yamaha 660 ccm ATV,
I realize my 3 wheel bike is just a toy, not a real bike….

“Daddy, look at these wheels, just plastic….”

” Didn’t you say something the other day of buying a Harley Davidson….?
Let’s go!!”

23. – 27. July. Nice days in Trondheim

After touring parts of Norway, we spent the last days in Trondheim. Auntie and Uncle were not home, so we occupied their house.
I spent a lot of time outdoor with Frida. We became real buddies, and even when I stepped on her tail, she just smiled to me. That’s what I call a family wow-wow!

Funny, last time I was here, I needed help to get down the stairs. Not this time!

We had a nice day walking the city of Trondheim. And look at the weather. The only complain I had, was that the sun was so bright.

This is from the old part of the city. The old wooden houses are really nice.

At Bakke Bro.

Here we are at the most famous street in Trondheim, Nordre Gate. If you haven’t been here, you haven’t been to Trondheim,…says Daddy.

OK la…

Here we are looking down Munkegaten.

Finally, we had to go to the market place to buy strawberries. “Best strawberries in the world”, says Daddy. Not sure I agree, but why argue….

Last overview of Trondheim, before going home to start packing. I was ment to be there in the picture with Mum, but had a nice sleep in the car, so they dropped waking me up. Nice parents… claim I am grumpy when they wake me up… Me?

21. – 22. July. Vinterbro, outside Oslo.

On our way from our cabin to Trondheim,
we spent 2 days at Vinterbro, outside Oslo, to visit my uncle and auntie.
A great place where I have a lot of space to play around.
In the evening, Kjell and I prepared for the barbeque.

While Kjell was preparing the fire, I had my appetizer, Norwegian made yoghurt with banana taste. I loved it!

The evening was very nice, and we enjoyed the company with Ragnhild and Kjell.

When I got bored, listening to them talking, I enjoyed myself playing.

And guess what, I found that my ATV was there as well.

Dad told me that Kjell will borrow the “brmmm-brmmm” for the winter,
so he can clean up the place and make it ready for my visit next year.
Kjell and Dad worked for hours on this cabin.
Dad was cutting a big hole in one of the walls where they want to fit a new window.
Sure it will be nice, but I didn’t like the sound of it!

So, Mum and I enjoyed ourself at the nice sitting area at the barbeque place.

Next stop:

Trondheim!

(Before I go home to Malaysia!)

19. July – At Eva and Kamilla’s place. + Video

Today we were at Eva and Kamilla’s place.
You get the real summer feeling at their beautiful location.
Eva and Kamilla have a big nice playground.

And Kamilla enjoys the nice weather.

I have to admit, Eva is an expert both with the hammock and the ladder.

Look at her! Wonder when I can do the same.
Takes some practicing, I think.

18. July – A busy day…

Started the day, helping Mum picking up fresh drinking water from the well.

Then disaster struck;
I wanted to have a quick look at the ATV, just to check if it was OK.
Stumbled, and hit the Norwegian rock with my forehead.
Looked bad for a moment, blood streaming down my face,
but it was easily fixed by Mum and Dad.
A cleanup, a nice plaster, and I was all ready to go..!

Relaxed for a while, had some water,
then Dad and I had to go over to Bjørn and Inger to check on them.

I had not met them before, but you see, Inger had some nice stuff to play with,
so I decided they are OK.

Even followed Bjørn to pick up some water from their well:-))

In the afternoon we went down to the farm to have a look at the cattle.

“Elvis”, a Norwegian Elk Dog, welcomed me with a lot of barking.
Scarry at first, but I soon learned he was barking because he wanted to play with me.
Look at this beauty. She is only a few weeks old.
I was a bit skepticle. Better stay with Mum.

And here I didn’t like it at all. The cows were too big.
Nice cows, but get me out of here, please…
Didn’t even like the smell of them…!

The farmer, Tellef, tried to ensure me that the animals are harmless.

Not sure I believed him.

17. July – Testing out the double bed.

Wow, the bed in the “boy’s” room is cool.
Specially now that I can climb up and down all by myself.
Lot of fun, when I am allowed to play in the upper bed.
