Dad and I have been invaded by girls!!

Would you believe it!
This weekend we have been invaded by Mums friends. Some of them had not seen each others for 15 years.
They arrived late Friday night; Dad and I slept by then.
At 6am on Saturday morning they dragged me out of bed and wanted to got to Penang Hill. Ok la… how to turn down an invitation from 6 lovely girls?
Anyway, as you can imagine, the weekend became very busy for me, and the noise level was far above normal. The pictures which you find here, and the video below should give you some taste of it. Thanks to Danny for some of the pictures and video clip.
By the way, you are more than welcome again. Any time!
Sunday 10. July 2011
Hi.
Have I told you we are going to have a baby soon?
Well, that’s what Mum and Dad says. They are pointing at Mummy’s tummy, and saying “Baby”.
And lately Mummy and Daddy has stopped carrying me. Mummy, because of her big tummy. Daddy, because he has back-pain.
Never mind, I am a big boy now, and will have to manage by my own, as I understand the baby will be a baby-girl… Siv Linn, they say will be her name.
Assume she will be the one to be carried then…
Not sure I like the idea, actually.
Having a baby-girl in the house, can be quite noisy, I understand.
Well, I am quite used to having a girl around, as Ana-girl has been visiting me a lot.
But that’s different.
She is cute, and she plays with me. And she copies everything I do. If I jump, she jumps – if I play the piano or the guitar, she want to do the same.
I miss her these days actually, I understand she is home in KL with her parents and Grandma. But when will she come and visit me again?
Now, the big question is;
What about me? I will not be that popular anymore?
I have heard that getting a baby-sister can be quite challenging for a guy like me. They are suddenly getting all the attention, I will be pushed aside, they expect me to behave, be nice, be a big boy…!
Listen, I used to be a baby as well. You have forgotten, haven’t you? Long time ago I could not walk, I could not talk. I was just a cute baby those days.

My first diving lesson. 8. July 2011
Yesterday, Mum started my diving lessons.
You know why? Well, Mum and Dad is a bit sick of me throwing my cars into the pool, so… why not teach the guy to pick it up himself.
No problem la..:-)
I receive a lot of feedback on my blog. Everybody like my videos and pictures, and they comment that I am always so happy and smiley.
Always? Not always.
I have my days as well. The other day I did not really feel for going to school. How I behave? Want see?
Have a look:-)
Sunday morning rain!
So what to do?
Yes, we were playing the piano as you can see in yesterday post. There is even some live video of us if you go here: https://kjtegnander.com/videos/
But soon Daddy had something else on his mind, so I was hanging around, playing with Thomas and Friends.
Mum and Dad were in the “baking mood”, so soon downstairs was filled with nice smell.
Daddy insisted to make some rolls, although he had never done it before… The smell was nice, they looked nice, the taste was nice as well, but very heavy. Something went wrong…
Then he dig out some premixed stuff he had brought from Norway. Should be nice Muffins, he said.
And wow, they were really good!! With some icing sugar on top, they were delicious.
But how long do they last? Not for long, the way Daddy is munching away.
Sunday 3. July 2011
I like Saturdays and Sundays.
I like other days as well, but there is something special about weekends.
Dad is home, he is more relaxed and playful, and if I behave just a bit, he can be quite patient actually.
What do we do, in addition to having our morning walk (you have seen all about that) and spending time in the pool (you have seen all about that, as well..)?
I have started to show more interest for the piano now. I mean in a more serious way…
Dad and I have a lot of fun playing and singing together, it doesn’t sound so nice yet, but we are getting there.
Then we can have a go at my funny bike, its all made of wood, except for the bolts and nuts, tires and handles.
Its more for decoration than use…. but, before I have a go, I have to increase the pressure in the tires. So Dad had to show me how to do it.
Easy!! Adults always make it sound so difficult…, just so they can have all the fun them self!!
My morning walk…
As Jean was here over the weekend, we had to show her the walk to Straits Quay.

Me and Mamma... still a bit sleepy:-)
So, Sunday morning at 06.45, who are up, ready for a walk (ohh, not really ready…)?
Jean, me, Mum and Dad!! It was again a nice walk, and we could show Jean the peace and quietness this early in the morning.
We meet a lot of people on our way, we are not the only “crazy guys” who love being out there so early in the morning.
And I enjoy waving my hand and saying “HEY”, loud and clear to all we meet.
Some smiles and say “Hey” back to me. Some look the other way, and seems a bit embarrased. Not used to a guy like me? Some come over and want to touch me… I don’t like that…!
Some have plugged their ears with something, and do not seem to be in this world. Dad tell me they are listening to music.
Why? On a Sunday morning walk?
Dad agree with me, no need for music. Here is the best music in the world served (even better than Phil Collins), free of charge; no need for iPod, WalkMan, earplugs or anything.
Just listen to the birds, the wind in the trees and the waves hitting the shore.

Pool and Barbecue day with family and friends.
Hi.
Jean has been visiting us this weekend. Great, I love to have visitors.
And when many of my family then turned up for a pool and barbecue day, wow.., we had a great day.
Mum and Jean had to start preparing the food very early.
Dad was watching tennis…, he is a afraid he is missing some big moments at Wimbledon, but no problem la.. Mum and Jean are a great team, and managed to get everything ready in time.
And I? Well, as you can see from the pictures here, I do not like to wear my swimming-west any more in the pool.
Dad insists, but when there are enough lifeguards around, he let me “swim” without. Yes, I go under for a long time, but that’s not a problem as I just keep my breath…
Been to KL for a few days.
I have been following mum to KL this week, in order to sort out some stuff. And… do a bit of shopping of course.
Por Por and Ana joined us for the ride down to KL, but only on 1 condition; I could use her car-seat!!
Anyway, the last night we stayed with Dad at the hotel down-town, and you know what:
In the lobby I found the greatest drumset I have ever seen.
Daddy said I should leave it alone, as the band would be upset if I touched it.
I don’t think so. When they were playing last night, they were even smiling to me, so I think its OK.
They may even realize I am the new Phil Collins. You know the fantastic guy, used to play drums in Genesis.
Don’t know Phil Collins? Have a look:
Anyway back at “our home” now in Penang, and going to school again this morning. Teacher Marcus picks me up at 08.00hrs, and I am always so excited to see him.
Okei, c u later.
En smak av Kinesisk bryllup.
For mine norske venner og familie, må jeg nesten gi dere en liten “live” smak av helgens begivenheter…:
