Norway Summer 2018. Part XII
Lillehammer!
While Dad was looking after the caravan, we went to Hunderfossen Family Park and had a great time.
We met new friends, Milli and Masaki living in Stavern.

But it was very hot, so when we were back at the camp site, Mamma actually was having a dip in Guldbrandsdalslågen (the name of the river).

Norway Summer 2018. Part XI
Hi again.
Over the last couple of days we have done more than 1000 km through Sweden. Good roads, but gosh so boring. Trees, trees and trees. They have a lot of them..
I am back to normal, now its Dad´s turn to have fever, soar throat and blocked nose. Leave him alone, he is not happy:-)
Today we are heading for Lillehammer, and plan to visit Hunderfossen Family Park https://hunderfossen.no/en/.
We plan to leave Dad to look after the caravan…

Although the pantry is small, Mum is doing a great job.

I am better!

Siv Linn having her caravan breakfast, sparkling as ever:-)

We are getting well adjusted to the camping life. No newcomers any more…

We are happy campers!

See you in a couple of days. (all depends on Dad´s condition…)
Norway Summer 2018. Part X
Yesterday we went from Kabelvåg in Lofoten, over Narvik and ended up in Gallivare in Sweden.
Me (Kim Johan) has not fully recovered from my flu and throat infection, my nose is still blocked…
We took a “few” pictures on our way here. Particularly the drive from Svolvær to Lødingen was very, very nice.
Here you go:

Norway Summer 2018. Part IX

We had a beautiful day yesterday.

But it was too hot; 32 degree.

At Svolvær, Lofoten.

Yatzy night in the caravan.

This morning everything was changed; 13 degree and rain.

We spent the morning in the caravan,

before we headed for the small place Å, at the tip of Lofoten.

On our way

The clouds may disappear.
Think the rest of the pictures tells it all

Norway Summer 2018. Part VIII
Had to wait for 4 hours for the ferry to Svolvær at Skutvik.
No problem, we spent our time in the caravan.

No Ferry yet.

We are ready, but where is the ferry?

I still have fever…

Siv Linn practising some writing.

Cozy!

Finally the ferry is here.

The ladies enjoying themself.

Siv Linn are in drawing and colouring mode.
Finally the ferry is here.

Mum enjoys this trip,

Stunning!

Looking towards mainland.

Here we are.

Dad loves to take pictures.

Lofoten

More Lofoten

The weather was fantastic.

Great

Skrova

Not sure…

Skrova

View towards Skrova again

Svolvær

Getting ready to hit the road again.
Norway Summer 2018. Part VII
Since yesterday we have gone from Trondheim to Krokstrand Camping in Rana next to Saltfjellet.
Stayed overnight there, nice quiet place, and today we have gone to Skutvik in Haramsøy.
But I have catched a cold again, so I am not active as normal. I am actually flat out in the car or in the caravan, depending if we are driving or having a break.

Even the laptop is not so interesting when you have a real cold!

Here we come!

After hours, we start to see the landscape is changing.

Nice.

Our first glimse of Lofoten

Skutvik, while waiting for the ferry

Skutvik.

Skutvik again.

More Skutvik.
Norway Summer 2018. Part VI
Today we have spent the day at Storsand Gård Camping in Trondheim. Great place with new and clean facilities. Score 8 out of 10!

We had a visit by Eva and Erling which was great. Thanks for taking the time to see us, and thanks to Eva for playing bocca with us!

In the afternoon we went back to Grandma and Grandpa´s grave to check on the flowers we plantet yesterday, and also to say goodby again.

In the afternoon we visited Kari Berit, Pappa´s cousin sister.
Wow, we had a big meal, coffe and marsipan cake, and then ice cream and strawberries/raspberries, and on top of that we watched France beating Croatia 4 – 2.
Dad was so full, he could hardly drive the car.
Very happy to see her again, but a bit sad as we actually missed out to take a picture together with Kari Berit. Sorry! Next time – promise!!
Norway Summer 2018. Part V
Today (14. July) we have gone from close to Besseggen to Trondheim, Daddy´s home town.
Pretty long drive actually, but Dad said we have to get used to it. We will do similar stages for the next 2 weeks.

We wanted to have a dip…

Changed our mind!

Nice view.

When Dad ask her to be part of his Photoshoot, Mum is cool.

There you go.

In the heart of Norway

Heidal kirke.

Again, in the heart of Norway
Norway Summer 2018. Part IV
Today we drove from Sandviken Camping in Tinn, all the way to Gjendesheim, up in the mountain of Norway.
We could see Besseggen, Galdhøpiggen og Glitretind on our way up here. The weather is still warm, but we have also had some rainshowers.

Mamma is all ready to climb the mountains again today, but we said no; we need her around.

Nice view, and Dad says I`m a nice guy!

Siv Linn is really into reading now. Bringing her books wherever we go.

Proud Daddy.

At Gjendesheim, with Besseggen in the background.
Norway Summer 2018. Part III
We all should visit Gaustatoppen today.

Gaustatoppen. Some say it’s Norway’s most beautiful mountain.
But the train was down for maintenance, so the youngsters and the older gave in..

But Mum did not. She walked up and down, a 2 hr walk each way.
No surprise to us; we know she is a tough lady!!

It’s a 2 hr tough walk, each way.

She met this 83 year old lady, also doing the trip alone.

Fantastic view.

Winding down for the day.

We are all tired, getting ready for bed.
